🌟 Gain Experience with our Counsellors in Training (CIT) Program 🌟 Take the next step in your leadership journey with our Counsellors in Training (CIT) Program! This advanced program builds on the foundations established in the Leaders in Training (LIT) Program, providing participants with more in-depth training and hands-on experience. Program Highlights: -Advanced Leadership Training: Build on your leadership skills and learn what it takes to become a successful camp counsellor. This is a mandatory training session to prepare for your volunteer placement. During this session, you will receive confirmation of your camp location and gain valuable insights into your role and responsibilities -Hands-On Experience: Gain practical experience by volunteering at one of our camp programs. Apply your skills in a real-world setting and make a positive impact on campers' lives -Future Opportunities: This program is an excellent stepping stone for potential future employment as a camp counsellor. Participants will receive an evaluation at the end of the session, along with credit toward community service hours -Extended Volunteering: A commitment of a minimum of 1 week is preferred when volunteering. If CITs enjoyed their week of volunteering and received a good evaluation, they are welcome to return for additional weeks to gain even more hours and experience -Training by Experienced Staff: CITs will be trained by our experienced and certified staff, ensuring they receive high-quality guidance and support Please make sure to review registration notes to understand what to expect, what to pack, required forms, and more.
