🌟 Learn and Grow as a Leader in Training (LIT) 🌟 Unlock your leadership potential with our Leaders in Training (LIT) Program! This engaging two-week program serves as an introduction to leadership development, combining practical training with hands-on experience to prepare participants for future opportunities. Program Highlights: -Leadership Development: Spend the first week gaining essential skills in program planning, communication, first aid, effective discipline for children, games, songs, self-care, and understanding policies and procedures. -Hands-On Experience: Upon successful completion of the training week, participants will have the opportunity to volunteer in a placement at one of our camps, applying their new skills in a real-world setting. -Future Opportunities: This program is an excellent stepping stone for potential future employment. Participants will receive an evaluation at the end of the session, along with credit toward community service hours. -Extended Volunteering: If LITs enjoyed their week of volunteering and received a good evaluation, they are welcome to return for additional weeks to gain even more hours and experience. -Water Play: Cool off with weekly fun swims, as well as water play sessions (all water activities are weather permitting). -Stay Updated: Camp details and more will be outlined in our weekly newsletter, so you'll always know what's coming next. -Training by Experienced Staff: LITs will be trained by our experienced and certified staff, ensuring they receive high-quality guidance and support.
