About this Course

The Town of New Tecumseth is pleased to partner with Get Outdoors to offer this EFA course. A one-day in class course that offers lifesaving first aid skills that focus on the things you need to do before emergency services get to your location. Emergency wound care to stop life threatening injuries, Breathing emergencies and CPR being the main focus of this course. Content: -Recognizing emergencies -Scene management and the EMS system -Chocking (adult, child, baby) -Airway emergencies -Circulatory emergencies -CPR (adult, child, baby) -Wound care -Tourniquets
